Air Duct Cleaning Technician

Responsible for the following:

  • Greeting the client and answering questions
  • Pre-cleaning inspection
  • Creating and sealing access points
  • Equipment set-up
  • Debris removal and air duct cleaning
  • Antimicrobial and anti-odor treatments
  • Walkthrough and cleanup

Yes. You can apply and start a career in air duct cleaning while taking courses toward the NADCA certification test, getting both hands-on and textbook training.

What does a typical day look like?

A typical day consists of several scheduled jobs at residential or commercial locations. You receive a daily schedule, arrive on site, and complete each service with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

What type of environment would I work in?

You will work in residential and commercial environments. Most jobs require a single technician, though some larger commercial jobs are completed as a team.
